Tip: During the onboarding process, Meazure Learning will have created an exam session that you can reference throughout this article.
Start by navigating to the Booking tab. By default, you will land on the Exam Sessions sub-tab. To create a session, choose the session type at the top right of the screen. You will be redirected to the session editor.
The most common exam delivery methods are online proctored and in-person proctored. The following examples describe setting up a session for both modalities. Note that these are guidelines; please refer to the session definitions for detailed explanations on customizing the session to your unique needs.
Online Proctored Sessions
- Select ‘+ Public/Online’ or ‘+ Private/Online’ depending on your needs.
- Specify Available Exam(s).
- Check off the ‘Remote’ option in the Location details.
- Set Start/End date and times for the full exam window.
For an online exam that can be written at anytime, set the end date to 2080. - Add an Administration to identify the session.
- Select Open booking date (when candidates will be able to see it on the calendar).
- Select Deadline (when the scheduling will close).
- Set booking details.
- Set withdraw deadline to 3 days.
- Set reschedule deadline to 3 days.
- Security level ‘low’.
- Set Capacity, if desired (to limit the number of appointments).
- Click ‘Add Session’ to confirm and create your session.
In-Person Proctored Sessions
- Select ‘+ Public/Online’ or ‘+ Private/Online’ depending on your needs.
- Specify Available Exam(s), or select Any Exam.
- Set Venue and Room #.
- Set Start/End dates to the specific writing times for that day.
- Add an Administration to identify the session.
- Select Open booking date (when candidates will be able to see it on the calendar).
- Select Deadline (when the scheduling will close).
- Set Cancellation policy if desired (when appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled).
- Set Auto Mark No Show Bookings, if desired.
- Set Capacity (this cannot exceed the maximum seats as specified in the venue details).
- Click ‘Add Session’ to confirm and create your session.
